A friend told me about St Thomas's 5 Remedies against sadness so I had to look thrm up. Have you heard of them?
1. Granting ourselves something we like
(I eat at least half a bar of dark chocolate throughout the day. For me this is also reading, blogging, writing)
2. Weeping
3. Sharing our sorrow with a friend
4. Contemplating the truth
5. Bathing and sleeping
Soooo true. Nothing like a hot shower for me.
I would add (should I "add" to St Thomas?!) striking the balance between cleaning the house and going out and also nature.
